Sébastien Dol, born October 27, 1978 in Digby, Nova Scotia started playing fiddle rather late in life, when he was 16 or 17 years old. His uncle, Denis à Alfred Comeau and his cousin, Johnny Comeau were a big influence. He was also inspired to play by the video "Johnny à Denis à Alfred" from the collection "Le Son des Français d'Amérique"  watching his grandfather and Johnny playing. Sébastien Dol est né le 27 octobre 1978 à Digby. In commença à jouer le violon assez tard, inspiré par son grand-père Alfred à Denis, ainsi que son oncle Denis à Alfred Comeau et son cousin Johnny Comeau. Son style de jeu est un mélange de trois cultures: la France, la Louisiane, et l'Acadie. "J'ai commencé tard, vers l'age de 16 ou 17 ans. Je joue le violon à cause que c'est dans ma famille. Quand j'étais p'tit, je me souviens vaguement de mon grand-père, Alfred à Denis, qui jouait du violon" (Entends-tu le Violon de Marie-Adèle Deveau)

Daniel LeBlanc

Daniel Leblanc from Saulnierville Nova Scotia  plays fiddle, guitar and does vocals for the band Grand Dérangement. He started playing fiddle at 18 years of age and helped to form the band in 1998 after his solo album "Le Djable dans l'corps". Daniel Leblanc est de Saulnierville en Nouvelle Écosse et joue du violon, de la guitare, et chante avec le groupe Grand Dérangement. Il commença a jouer du violon à l'age de dix-huit ans et aida à former le groupe en 1998 après la sortie de son album solo "Le Djable dans l'corps.

Kenneth Saulnier

Kenneth Saulnier comes from Saulnierville, Nova Scotia. He first started to play mandolin, then guitar, banjo, then fiddle. As a fiddler, he has performed with the group 1775, Beausoleil Broussard, the duo Kenneth and Johnny. Steve Muise

Steve Muise is a young fiddler and fiddler teacher now living in Maine. His dad was born in Surette's Island, Nova Scotia and his mother's parents are from Pinkney's Point. Steve teaches fiddling and orchestra at Mt. Blue High School in Farmington, Maine and plays in the group Boréal Tordu.
